Terms of use

Last updated June 28, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Banneton app and this website. By using them, you agree to what follows. Apple’s standard licensed application end user license agreement also applies to the app.

Food-safety note

Banneton’s guidance and timings are informational and based on the numbers you enter. Fermentation depends on your flour, your starter, and your kitchen, so every time is an estimate. Follow safe food-handling practices and use your own judgment. If a starter smells truly foul or shows fuzzy or colored mold, throw it out. Banneton does not provide professional food-safety or health advice.

Subscriptions

Premium is offered as a yearly or monthly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Payment is charged to your Apple account, and any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. We send our own reminder before a trial ends. Prices may vary by region.

Acceptable use

Use Banneton for your own baking. Do not attempt to break, reverse engineer, or misuse the app or this site.

No warranty

Banneton is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the extent allowed by law. We work hard to make it reliable, but we cannot guarantee a particular baking result.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post changes here with a new date. Questions? Email hello@getbanneton.com. Banneton is made by Handler Labs LLC.
